Creative Making for Schools & Families

Atelier MiniMakers offers creative workshops both as a STEAM afterschool program in international schools and as weekend sessions for families. Both formats focus on hands-on miniature building—from working models to intricate dioramas—that nurture curiosity, patience, and collaboration in a fun, screen-free space.

After School Classes

The Mini Makers after-school program engages students in the hands-on construction of miniature, functional models of real-world objects. This process moves learning from theory to practice, as students build working models—such as a tiny drawbridge with a pulley system or a scale building with moving parts. Through this tangible making, they explore foundational principles of physics, mechanics, and engineering in a direct and memorable way. The program emphasizes problem-solving, fine motor skills, and iterative design, fostering resilience, attention to detail, and creative confidence. By working in miniature within a collaborative, screen-free environment, students gain a deeper understanding of how things work through the integrated principles of STEAM—and, most importantly, they have a great deal of fun.

Family Workshops

Discover a unique weekend activity to share with your child. Our family workshops are designed for one parent and one child (7+) to collaborate on a hands-on creative project. In these intimate 2-3 hour sessions, you’ll work side-by-side to build a detailed miniature scene or a functional model, learning basic techniques while enjoying focused, screen-free time together. It’s more than a craft—it’s a memorable experience in creativity and connection.
